I'm emailing to your website from work as I don't have your email address
with me here. I just have to tell you how Buster (April's brother) responded
to her painting.
First of all, you should know that I have photographs framed of my dogs all
over my living room and bedroom. Buster has never paid attention to any
picture -- big or small -- before -- that is until April entered my bedroom.
After I hung the painting up, Buster came in a few minutes later and
literally stopped dead in his tracks. He looked at it, started wagging his
tail furiously and was barking excitedly non-stop for the rest of the
evening.
I almost contemplated taking the painting down for a while, but then I
realized that he recognized her. The painting is so lifelike, I think he
thought that was really her and he was saying "where have you been??? come
play ..."
I guess he has finally given up on her coming to play but he still looks up
at her painting and barks at it at least once every day on his way out the
door door. It made me cry the first week he did it. I just held him and told
him how much I missed her too. But now it is actually making me understand
how much he loved her too and it makes me smile to have him bark at her
every day.
I would never have thought that your painting would bring so much healing
to, not only to my heart, but to my sweet Buster's heart just to see his
sissy-girl April again.
