Greyhound Art Stained Glass

"My Two Loves"               
This piece measures 18" across the bottom and 10" at the center of the arch.  The traditional copper foil method has been used to highlight the detail and features of both dogs.  The greyhound is opaque white with a lovely soft brown accent glass that has highlights of gold, and taupe swirling through the glass.  Two shades of brown translucent glass were used for the dachshund with the darker brown having a granite texture to more closely resemble hair.  The sunburst archway is all clear water glass that give the piece and nice outward flow.  The bottom ledge that both dogs are standing on is a clear granite.  Framing is a small 1/8" lead came and the overall piece is lightweight and small enough that it could be either hung or displayed as a picture on an easel.
