"My Two Loves"
This project was brought to me by a woman who spend her days off from work
volunteering at the Greyhound Rescue Center in LaMesa , CA. cleaning,
medicating, playing and loving rescued greyhounds. Each night however, she
went home to her other loves, two dachshunds -one longhair and one smooth.
There was no way for her to bring these two loves together into one shot, so
I combined them in a way that I thought the two would relate to each other
if given the opportunity. She was so happy to have something that showed
her "two loves" . Knowing her and since getting to meet some of the dogs
in her care also inspired me to adopt a greyhound of my own and it has been
a wonderful experience receiving updates and photos about my dog and the
progress he is making toward becoming social enough to be formally adopted.
