Artist Holly Klay cuts all glass by hand and the copper foil fabrication technique is used to ensure that all solder lines are smooth and consistent throughout the piece. Framing is lightweight zinc with a chain that can be adjusted according to your hanging needs.
Custom sizing is available for window panels as well. Just use the form on the "Contact Us" page with your request. You can send your photo through email, or the Post Office. All photos will be returned without harm. Safe purchase- $50 Pattern Fee paid in advance and applied toward the fees shown below. You don't pay until you approve the pattern!

Stained Glass Angel And Dog

All of us deal
with the loss of a pet in different ways. For some it is that last special
photograph that was taken by chance, for others it is the comfort of being
in the space where memories linger of playtime hours and visions of our dogs
rolling in the grass or stretched out lazily among the flowers.
Whether this is hung to simply enhance a beautiful garden
setting, or as a special marker for those that have passed on, it still
stands out as a highly crafted work of art. The quality of craftsmanship
that has gone into creating this piece stands uncompromised by the fact that
it was created for the outdoors. The glass pieces are still cut precisely
by hand and individually foiled and soldered with the closest attention to
detail and quality. Finally, the finished piece is waxed and drainage holes
are drilled in the bottom of the zinc frame to ensure that it can stand up
to any type of weather.
This piece comes with a garden hook that stakes into the ground, and stands
30" tall and 18" wide. The stained glass is 10" X 12" and hangs from the
garden hook with a medium weight black chain. The angel is done in opaque
glasses with ice chipped iridescent wings. The rainbow behind the angel
will change greatly throughout the day as the sunlight lightens or darkens
the pastel pinks, blues and yellows that naturally streak through this type
of Kokomo glass.
